With the addition of NetPlus technology, we’re able to rely on the traditional performance qualities of Pertex Quantum whilst also being confident in the positive impact of the fabric and its recycling process. The ThruDark Bastion Down Jacket uses 10D Pertex Quantum made from NetPlus, which uses a tightly woven structure to provide a light and soft downproof fabric that allows insulation to fully loft, providing both comfort and enhanced thermal performance. 

The fabric is woven from yarns made from NetPlus material – 100% post-consumer recycled fishing net. Our partner Bureo works directly with fishing communities in South America to turn end of life fishing nets into recycled nylon material. Helping to prevent ocean pollution and reduce the demand for fossil fuels.
